Forest Nook is located on the hills of Suncuius village, with a breathtaking view over the Cris Valley. This cabin’s story is a journey of heritage and adventure—it was lovingly relocated from the Maramures region, bringing with it the soul of Romanian tradition. Moving it here was a new challenge for us, was the first project of this type for us, knowing that this place would become something truly special. 

Originally built in the 1960s, this cabin has seen decades of history before finding its new home in the hills above Cris Valley. It blends rustic charm with modern comfort, offering you the best of both worlds. With its wooden beams and shingle roof, it stands as a tribute to the craftsmanship of Maramures while providing all the amenities you need for a peaceful retreat. Inside, you’ll find an open-plan space designed for cozy living. The cabin has a charming bedroom, a snug living room with a fireplace perfect for those cooler nights, an open kitchen where you can whip up local delicacies, and a modern bathroom. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on the deck or enjoying a glass of wine by the fire, you’ll be surrounded by tranquility and stunning views.
